GENERAL

  • Axe throwing is about having fun with your friends and loved ones. Similar to darts, but with an axe, you throw at a wooden target in a primal contest of skill that has been around for hundreds of years!

    Did you know that Abe Lincoln was 8 years old the first time he threw an axe on his family farm?

  • Drengr, in old Norse, means BADASS!

    A Drengr is courageous or daring, in the sense of a warrior. Throw with us and our expert coaches will have you throwing like a badass before you leave.

  • This depends on the size of your group. The bigger the group the more time we allow, but the price stays the same!

  • We take bookings through our website or by phone. Deposits are due at the time of booking. For purchases made in-store, we offer cash, card, and contactless payment options.

Safety and Rules

  • No activity or sport is completely safe, but every thrower is given instruction from our coaches, who are here to make sure all of our guests are throwing safely and enjoy their Drengr experience. All of our coaches are competitors are know their stuff!

    Alcohol - worried about the axes and beer combination? The average thrower drinks maybe two drinks during an axe throwing session. We do screen everyone at check-in so if intoxicated, you will not be allowed to throw.

  • Every group has a coach to guide them through the initial safety brief. Coaches will then get you to stick an axe and introduce you to the games!

    In fact, we have a 5 throw guarantee! Our coaches have over 20 years combined axe throwing experience and WILL get you to stick it.

  • REQUIRED: closed toed shoes.

    RECOMMENDED: comfortable loose-fitting clothes.

  • We serve ages walking to 99+! If you can hold and throw the axe, we want to create a fun experience for you! We have suction cup axes for the littles too! However, our guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and everyone in the building must sign a wavier even if only spectating!

  • FOOD - Yes. We have lots of great restaurants close by.

    DRINKS - We have a fridge stocked with your favorite sodas, tea, energy drinks, etc. You must be 21+ to consume alcohol and have a valid ID. No hard liquor is allowed in the venue.

Reservations and Booking

  • Walk-ins are welcome. Bookings recommended for groups of two or more, especially on a Friday or Saturday night.

  • Life gets in the way and we understand. Our coaches are scheduled based on our bookings so we ask that you let us know if you can’t make it.

    Customers will receive a refund or opportunity to reschedule with more than 48 hours notice of scheduled booking. If cancelled with less than a 48 hour notice, Customers can reschedule for another date and time or store credit in the form of a gift card. Reach out through the Contact Us page to cancel or inquire about rescheduling.

    Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in the case of an operator cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

    No shows will not receive a refund.

  • Our hours are listed below, but we can and will open for corporate events and other large groups at any time outside of our regular opening hours.

    Wed. & Thurs. 5pm - 10pm
    Friday 5pm - 10pm
    Saturday 12pm - 10pm
    Sunday 12pm - 8pm

  • We can host groups up to 150! We have party/event plans to accommodate any group size.

Experience and Amenities

  • Yes, but why would you want to just watch?

    Spectators are allowed and only those throwing will be charged, but everyone in your group must sign a waiver.

  • Axes, coaching, and a good time! Coaches will be there as much or as little as you need them. Once everyone can get their axe to stick to the target, coaches will teach you the different games you can play.

  • Depends on your stamina! Most sessions a minimum of 75 minutes to two hours, depending on group size.

  • We have TVs installed through out the venue and a 100” projector screen perfect for watching the big game or hosting your corporate meeting.

  • Of course! And the best part is you get to be the DJ with our TouchTunes box!

Extended Activities

  • If we have spaces open, you are welcome to extend your time for an additional hour for $15 per person.

  • Yes. We host the state of Texas’ biggest leagues and have multiple days to choose from!

    We are a World Axe Throwing League (WATL) and World Knife Throwing League (WKTL) Affiliate. There are four league seasons per year. League members have the chance to earn spots to the World Championship.

  • The awesome thing about axe throwing and the leagues is that if you’re new or experienced, young or old, an athlete or a couch potato, kilt wearing or not, this will feel like home!
